I received an error message

If you receive an error pop-up like the following, you have encountered an app error.

The first course of action is to force close and restart your app; sometimes these error messages can be easily solved.

If that doesn't solve the issue, please reach out to our Customer Support team here for further help. Please include as many details regarding the error message when you contact the Support team.

Here are some examples of what will help the Support team when they review your issue:

  • Include a screenshot of the error message you're seeing.
  • If possible, include a video of your Ship experience when the error message appears (i.e. inviting friends, Discovery not loading, chat activity disappearing)
  • Feel free to elaborate as much as you can about the details of the error message (i.e. on which page does it occur, does it happen every time or only in certain circumstances, is it related to a specific member)
